a very positive stay ! the new owners are fabulous made me feel welcome. i stayed overnight as attended a wedding near by … even after hrs made me some food !! spot on highly recommend !!!
A true little gem Couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome. I travelled on my own to see my son and was made to few very welcome. Lovely room- spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay
This is a very strong 4 stars: while the hotel is quite old, it's super cozy and clean. I would consider this as one of the best budget hotels I've ever stayed.
We have grown to really enjoy our visits to the Keyberry. Always a friendly welcome and good service. Great take away pizza too!!
My sister and I booked into the Keyberry unfortunately the previous host left the new host in a bind , they didn't know we had booked and paid in full until a couple weeks ago. I can't thank our host Michelle enough They were so welcoming and attentive, The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The keyberry is not fancy but it is very clean , comfortable and welcoming , we will definitely go back , can't fault them , they handled the unfortunate failings of the previous host ..like a boss .5 star just for that
Very classic and authentic place. Great neighborhood to just chill and enjoy your time. Your will not see more welcoming landlord anywhere else. Great price. I have stayed twice in this place with my wife and I would pick it every time over other hotels in Newton abbot.
Fantastic breakfast at a very fair price. Stopped off after a dog walk at nearby Decoy Country Park for breakfast. Welcome was warm and friendly with table service. We ordered the full English and bacon bap - tea and coffee self service was included. Wasn't sure what to expect... the service was quick and the food surprisingly great. Bacon was tasty and rendered well, sausage was quality and herby, mushrooms and egg were not oily or greasy and beans came in their own pot which is my preference - all hot and presented nicely. I didn't even need at extra seasoning from the condiment selection. Very impressed. The bacon bap was well stacked and the bap soft and fluffy. A £1 extra sausage for our dog was no problem and even came chopped up. Relative to the price, it was a 5 start breakfast for us. We will be returning, and I'll be ordering the next size up!
What a great little gem. The landlord and lady are lovely and took really good care of me, the food was spot on and the atmosphere in the pub with the locals was warm and friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and light and warm and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. There is a beautiful park just opposite with a lovely walk around a lake and a great play park for children. If I needed too, I would definitely stay here again. (Also, I'm really sorry but I've just noticed I accidentally picked up a coaster from the room when I was picking up my stuff off the dressing table.)
